There are many non-invasive laser technology services that allow you to get major results with little down time.  These services include body sculpting, teeth whitening, vaginal rejuvenation, hair removal, and more.  We offer a several of these here in our spa right along side your massage and spa services. 

Laser Body Sculpting

There are several different forms of laser body sculpting treatments. We currently offer cavitation, lipolysis, radio frequency, and vacuum treatments.    

Most non-surgical body contouring devices employ energy to enter the skin and break down underlying fat, whether its radiofrequency, ultrasound freezing temperatures, or a hyperthermic laser. The damaged fat cells are subsequently gradually removed by the body’s normal metabolic process during the next months following treatment. The effects are usually long-lasting. 

A typical in-clinic treatment lasts about 60 minutes. Typically, the operator will place a handpiece on the treatment region and hold it there for a predetermined amount of time. There is no downtime, and clients can immediately return to work or their typical activities. 

How does Cavitation work?

The ultrasound Cavitation field causes bubbles in the fluids to form around the fat cells, causing them to expand and implode gradually. Because fat cell membranes lack the structure capacity to tolerate vibrations, ultrasonic cavitation easily damages them while protecting vascular, neuronal, and muscular tissue. 

Our trained therapists apply a specifically developed handpiece to the target location. The handpiece sends out powerful low-level ultrasonic waves that use a compression-expansion mechanism and travel in high-speed cycles. By repeating this cycle, an unlimited number of micro-cavities cause collision and implosion, resulting in the emission of shockwaves that promote emulsification and removal of the fat tissues in the target area (cavitation). The lymphatic and urinary systems quickly remove this fluid for the body, resulting in fat loss.

How does Radio Frequency work?

Radio Frequency (RF) is an efficient approach to enhance skin tightness and elasticity, eliminate wrinkles and cellulite, and improve overall body condition on areas such as the face, chin, upper arm, thighs, bra line, buttocks, and abdomen. This procedure causes tissue remodeling as well as the synthesis of new collagen and elastin.  The procedure is an alternative to facelifts and other cosmetic procedures. Clients who have undergone botox, dermal fillers, or laser treatments can benefit from RF. Clients must wait at least one week before receiving any treatments. 

RF devices employ a handpiece that rotates gently across the treatment region. The handpiece sends radio waves through the upper layers of the skin to the dermis, heating it to 39-45 degrees C while leaving the epidermis unharmed. 

The application of this heat to the dermis results in three excellent benefits:

· Tissue retraction—The heat produces local contraction of the collagen fibers, tightening the skin, and revealing a raised, tighter, and more youthful aspect. 

· Heating the dermis encourages the generation of new collagen, which is vital in the fight against indications of ageing. Increased collagen results in plumper, firmer skin with greater flexibility.

· Improved circulation—RF enhances blood and lymphatic flow as well. This promotes increased oxygen supply and toxin clearance, which helps t minimize the signs and consequences of aging. 

How does it feel during the Ultrasonic or RF Treatment?

Most clients believe the treatment is painless and comfortable. Some people may experience some discomfort because of the unique noise spreading inside the body, however this is harmless and vanishes as soon as the applicator is removed from the body. During the therapy, you may also feel a heat sensation. If it becomes too heated, apply more ultrasonic gel. If this does not make the client comfortable, discontinue the treatment immediately. 

How is the fat eliminated from the body?

The ultrasound cavitation induces fat emulsification by rupturing the fat cell membrane, releasing its fat content and transforming it into a material that is easily eliminated by the sweat gland, liver circulation, the lymphatic system, and thru urination.
